Keep Austin Beautiful Day

***Due to the forecasted thunderstorms on the morning of Keep Austin Beautiful Day (4/13), volunteer projects this Saturday will be POSTPONED until 1pm.***

CAPA members and their families are invited to participate in KAB Day, a county-wide day of service spanning 100+ sites in 31 zip codes in the greater Austin area. CAPA's portion of the street is along S. Congress, starting at Riverside and ending at W. Annie. 

WE WILL MEET AT 1 P.M. IN THE PARKING LOT AT 105 E. RIVERSIDE DRIVE.  OUR STREET IS ALONG S. CONGRESS, STARTING AT RIVERSIDE AND ENDING AT W. ANNIE. 

Each April, Keep Austin Beautiful hosts Keep Austin Beautiful Day, a county-wide day of service spanning 100+ sites in 31 zip codes in the greater Austin area.

Keep Austin Beautiful Day mobilizes 2,000 volunteers every year, who remove 25,000-30,000 pounds of litter, plant trees and gardens, restore native habitats, and beautify neighborhoods. The network of projects is followed by a not-to-be-missed volunteer party featuring free t-shirts, lunch, live music, children’s environmental activities, a unique object contest, door prizes, and more!
