Ira Lipstet of DuBois, Bryant & Campbell, LLP speaking on a "Tax Liability?  What Tax Liability?  And Could it be Personal?" (NALA pending / TBLS pending)

Summary of presentation: The focus is on what to do when a company receives a notice of a state tax audit or the taxing authority is claiming there is an outstanding tax liability. Also discussed will be situations when it’s possible that claims for sales or payroll taxes (so called “trust fund” taxes) can turn into a personal liability for individuals working for or on behalf of a business entity – and  what to do to avoid those situations.
