  • February 07, 2017
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Sullivan's Steakhouse, 300 Colorado, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78701
Join DTI for a complimentary lunch and learn on eDiscovery and Information Governance in Office 365.

About the Program
Office 365 has MAJOR implications for the eDiscovery and Information Governance communities as both the volume and types of ESI created and stored in this cloud service is growing at historic rates.  Much of the ESI sought in discovery already resides in Office 365—or soon will.  A key question is to what degree you or your client might be able to leverage Office 365’s growing set of built-in eDiscovery tools.

Attendees will receive a thorough briefing on the key eDiscovery and Information Governance considerations of moving to Office 365.  In addition, a review of the built-in eDiscovery tools—including their pros and cons—will be provided.

Topics will include:

  • A clear explanation of Office 365 and how it works
  • The types of ESI created by and located in Office 365
  • Review of the native/built-in features in Office 365 for eDiscovery and Information Governance
  • How does Office 365’s native technology assisted review tool work?
  • Pros and cons of the built-in tools

Arm yourself with the knowledge and insight needed to effectively collaborate with your organization’s IT and information security teams when it comes to evaluating, implementing, and managing Office 365’s built-in eDiscovery and Information Governance tools.

Who Should Attend?
This briefing addresses a broad range of issues from a cross-functional perspective.  While any professional working/interested in eDiscovery and Information Governance will find significant value from this program, any discipline dealing with the creation, management, protection, and disposition of information will benefit, including: information technology (IT), legal, information security (InfoSec), compliance, and records management (RIM.)
