This webinar will give YOU training on how to volunteer for the TexasLawHelp Volunteer Program.  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

One of the initiatives of both Paralegal Division President Erica Anderson as well as State Bar of Texas President Alan DuBois is to encourage greater involvement in pro bono work.   In order to broaden its reach to Texans in need of cost-effective, reliable legal aid, District 3 (Fort Worth/Arlington area) of the Paralegal Division has worked with TexasLawHelp and arranged a training webinar for volunteer facilitators.    As a Volunteer Paralegal, these pro bono hours can be done from anywhere through a computer with a stable internet connection. The process is easy and flexible; all work will be done remotely from the comfort of your home, office, or virtually anywhere through a stable internet connection.

ABOUT TexasLawHelp
TexasLawHelp.org is a website dedicated to providing free, reliable legal information to low-income Texans.  It is part of a broader effort within the national legal aid community to use technology, specifically the Internet, to enhance and expand the delivery of legal aid. In 2013, the website attracted more than 815,000 unique visitors, with 5,900,000 pages viewed.  The Legal Services Corporation provided initial funding for the website.  TexasLawHelp.org is a program of the Texas Legal Services Center (TLSC).  TLSC is a non-profit law office founded in 1977 whose mission is to improve the quality of advocacy and expand availability of legal services for low-income Texans.  The website is also supported by the Texas Access to Justice Foundation, Travis County Law Library, and Pro Bono Net.
